They are collectively called the Zo people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kuki Chin people are settled in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, the only extensive hill area in Bangladesh that lies in the southeastern part of the country. It borders &#8211; Myanmar on the southeast, Tripura on the north, Mizoram on the east and the Chittagong \u2014 district on the west.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The refugee influx began after clashes broke out between the Kuki-Chin National Army and Bangladesh\u2019s Rapid Action Battalion.
