This will be an <\/span><b>annual campaign <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">focussing on specific gender issues each year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Focus area of this year: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The focus area of the campaign this year is <\/span><b>gender-based violence <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with the aim to equip women to recognise and prevent violence and make them aware of their rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Implementing agency:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This campaign will be implemented by all states in collaboration with Civil Society Organisations (CSO) partners, and actively executed by all levels including the states, districts and blocks, engaging the community institutions along with the extended community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Significance: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign will bring together all line departments and stakeholders to create a concerted effort in acknowledging, identifying and addressing the issues of violence.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: The post is based on the article \u201cNai Chetna campaign against gender-based violence gets under way in Kerala\u201d published in The Hindu on 29th November 2022.
