Mobility Partnership pact: <\/b>India and Germany have signed a comprehensive partnership on migration and mobility agreement to ease travel for research, study and work for people in both countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On India\u2019s import of crude oil from Russia:<\/b> India\u2019s Foreign Minister has <\/span>strongly defended its import of crude oil from Russia. It said that I<\/span>ndia\u2019s consumption of Russian oil is just one-sixth of European consumption and should not be compared unfavorably.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Note: <\/b>Recently, G7 and European Union countries have launched an \u201coil price cap\u201d plan to withdraw shipping and insurance services to countries that buy Russian oil above the price of $60 a barrel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The Indian side also expressed confidence over Germany\u2019s support for India\u2019s bid for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council.<\/span><\/p>\n

Baby Ariha Issue: <\/b>India has <\/span>expressed concerns over an Indian baby girl who has been living in foster care in Germany. The German authorities had taken custody of Ariha Shah over a year back alleging that the parents harassed her.
