{"id":219598,"date":"2022-12-23T19:05:32","date_gmt":"2022-12-23T13:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=219598"},"modified":"2022-12-23T19:05:32","modified_gmt":"2022-12-23T13:35:32","slug":"around-40000-women-trained-all-over-india-under-nai-roshni-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/around-40000-women-trained-all-over-india-under-nai-roshni-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Around 40,000 women trained all over India under Nai Roshni Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The post is based on the article<\/span><b> \u201c<\/b><b>Around 40,000 women trained all over India under Nai Roshni Scheme<\/b><b>\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> published in <\/span><b>PIB on 23rd December 2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Minister of Minority Affairs has informed Lok Sabha about the Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nai Roshni scheme has now been merged as a component of Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is the Nai Roshni Scheme?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Nodal Ministry: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministry of Minority Affairs<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Aim: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">empower and enhance confidence in Minority women by providing knowledge, tools, and techniques for the Leadership Development of Women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Under the scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a six-days non-residential\/five-days residential training program is conducted for women belonging to minority communities between the age group of 18 years to 65 years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 The training modules cover areas related to programs for women, Health and Hygiene, Legal rights of women, Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, Swachch Bharat, Life Skills, and Advocacy for Social and Behavioral changes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Implemented by:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The scheme is being implemented through Programme Implementing Agencies\/Non Governmental Organizations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Beneficiaries having annual income not exceeding Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources are given preference in selection for training under the scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: The post is based on the article \u201cAround 40,000 women trained all over India under Nai Roshni Scheme\u201d published in PIB on 23rd December 2022 What is the News?
