The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has launched several initiatives and schemes in 2022.<\/p>\n

What are the schemes and initiatives launched by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare?<\/h5>\n

This year India witnessed a)<\/strong> Record food grains and horticulture production, b)<\/strong> Enhancement in budget allocation, c)<\/strong> The government increased the MSP for all mandated Kharif, Rabi and other commercial crops, d)<\/strong> Increased the procurement from farmers.<\/p>\n

The major schemes operated by the Ministry are, 1) National Mission for Edible Oils \u2013 Oil Palm<\/a><\/strong>, 2) PM KISAN scheme<\/a><\/strong>, 3)<\/strong> \u200b\u200b<\/b>Pradhan Mantri Fasal BimaYojana(PMFBY)<\/b><\/a>, 4)\u00a0<\/strong> Agri Infrastructure Fund<\/strong><\/a>, 5)<\/strong> National Beekeeping & Honey Mission(NBHM)<\/b><\/a>, 6)<\/strong> Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization(SMAM)<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Schemes for the promotion of organic farming in the country<\/strong>: a)\u00a0Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana(PKVY)<\/a><\/strong>, b) Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati(BPKP) Scheme<\/a><\/strong>, c) New Participatory Guarantee System (PGS)<\/strong> certification<\/strong>: This PGS system is unique in the world and is the largest participatory organic certification programme in the world, d) Jaivikkheti portal<\/strong>: It has been initiated to assist the small and marginal farmers in selling their organic products directly to consumers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
