The <\/span>Ministry of Cooperation h<\/span>as launched several initiatives and schemes in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are the schemes and initiatives launched by the <\/b>Ministry of Cooperation\u00a0<\/b>in 2022?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Computerization of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies(PACS)\u00a0<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

RBI announced very important policy decisions for the cooperative sector:<\/b><\/h2>\n

Firstly, <\/b>RBI has increased the existing limits on individual housing loans provided by cooperative banks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly, <\/b>rural cooperative banks have been allowed to lend to the commercial real estate residential housing sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirdly, <\/b>urban co-operative banks have now been allowed to provide door-step banking facilities to their customers on the lines of commercial banks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Registration of cooperative societies as \u2018Buyers\u2019 on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

A National Level Committee under the Chairmanship of former Union Cabinet Minister <\/span>Suresh Prabhu<\/b> has been formed for drafting the <\/span>National Cooperation Policy document.<\/b><\/p>\n

An allocation of Rs.900 crore <\/b>has been made in the Union Budget for the financial year 2022-23 for the implementation of <\/span>various activities of the Ministry of Cooperation<\/b> which is about 2.5 times the budget provision for the year 2021-22.<\/span><\/p>\n

Multi State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Bill, 2022\u00a0<\/b><\/a><\/h2>\n

Krishak Bharti Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) Bio-ethanol project was inaugurated in Hazira, Surat (Gujarat)<\/b><\/p>\n
