What is Development economics?<\/li>\n<li>Name few economists working in this field?<\/li>\n<li>What has India done on lines of development economics?<\/li>\n<li>What is taught in Textile engineering in IITs?<\/li>\n<li>Is anything taught on machinery and production?<\/li>\n<li>Tell me about handloom sector in India.<\/li>\n<li>How can you use what you learnt in engineering for handlooms?<\/li>\n<li>Anything related to technology upgradation and machines for them?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Member 3<\/strong> Again<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>How would you distinguish a saree wether it is hand-woven or power loom? I<\/li>\n<li>said uneven texture.<\/li>\n<li>Again asked can you do it while a shopkeeper tries to sell it to you by claiming it as handwoven?<\/li>\n<li>I said that will be very difficult for me.<\/li>\n<li>They all had a chat around this topic and laughed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Chairman<\/strong> asks what is the difference between fibre, filament, yarn and thread?
