He was trying to highlight the need for the adoption of sustainable clothing to save the environment.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How has the blue vest been manufactured?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The vest has been made out of <strong>fibers and yarn crushed and melted from PET bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Its production process <strong>saves at least 90 percent water and 50 percent energy<\/strong> when compared with traditional methods making it environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What are the problems with manufacturing clothes by traditional methods?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The fashion industry globally causes <strong>10 percent of total carbon emissions<\/strong> and is a big pollutant.
