What would you prefer- getting into services as a specialist lateral entrant or through the exam as a generalist<\/li>\n<li>Since governance is mostly based on technology now, do you prefer having generalists or tech specialists in the field<\/li>\n<li>What made you go for civil services<\/li>\n<li>You are from HP. Did you find Bangalore beautiful?<\/li>\n<li>Bangalore has people from so many cultures. Are we able to follow the ideals mentioned in preamble.<\/li>\n<li>What does &#8216;Republic&#8217; mean<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Member 3<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Does HP have border with any other country? Which country?<\/li>\n<li>What is this border called?<\/li>\n<li>Have both the countries agreed upon the border demarcation?<\/li>\n<li>Which country has more issues wrt border?<\/li>\n<li>Have you heard about &#8216;string of pearls&#8217;? How does it matter to India if China has this policy?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Member 4<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Have you opted for IPS?<\/li>\n<li>Why do you think female candidates find IPS difficult?<\/li>\n<li>Any female IPS officer you know who has worked in your distt.?<\/li>\n<li>Where is Mallacan Strait? How is it important for China?<\/li>\n<li>You must have gone through budget. How much fund is allocated this time to PMAY?<\/li>\n<li>What does MISHTI stand for?<\/li>\n<li>Also, tell some more schemes which are being run for alleviating poverty.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Board was very cordial. They were constantly nodding, instilling more confidence.
