It was an important centre of trade and commerce during ancient times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Located near<\/strong>: the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Significance<\/strong>: It is considered <strong>one of the largest and best-preserved ancient fortifications<\/strong> in India.
