What is the World Air Quality Report?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The World Air Quality Report presents an overview of the state of global air quality in 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The report is based on PM2.5 data from 7,323 cities and 131 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are the key findings of the report?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Most Polluted Countries:<\/b> Chad, Iraq, Pakistan, Bahrain, and Bangladesh are the 5 most polluted countries in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most Polluted Cities:<\/b> Lahore was the most polluted city in the world, followed by Hotan in China and Bhiwadi in Rajasthan.<\/span><\/p>\n

India:<\/b> India has ranked 8th in the global list of countries with the most hazardous air quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Bhiwadi in Rajasthan was found to be the most polluted city in India and the third most polluted city in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 New Delhi is the second most polluted capital city in the world, with N\u2019Djamena in Chad topping the list.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 India <\/span>hosts 12 of the 15 most polluted cities in Central and South Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n
