These robots can also be used in nuclear plants and other industries as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What are exoskeletons?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exoskeletons are wearable devices that work in tandem <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the user. The opposite of an exoskeleton device would be an autonomous robot that works <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">instead<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the operator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exoskeletons are placed on the user\u2019s body and act as amplifiers that augment, reinforce or restore human performance.
