What is the News?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Prime Minister has inaugurated the first-ever National Training Conclave at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the National Training Conclave?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The National Training Conclave is being organized as part of the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) – \u2018Mission Karmayogi\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hosted by:<\/b> The Conclave is being hosted by the Capacity Building Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objective<\/b>: To foster collaboration among civil services training institutes and bolster the training infrastructure for civil servants across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation: <\/b>More than 1500 representatives from training institutes, including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional and\u00a0 Zonal Training Institutes, and Research institutes will participate in the conclave.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Civil Servants from central government departments, state governments, local governments, as well as experts from the private sector will take part in the deliberations.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is <\/b>Capacity Building Commission?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Capacity Building Commission has been constituted in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mandate:<\/b> To drive standardization and harmonization across the Indian civil services landscape.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Functions: <\/b>CBC is mandated to perform the following key functions: 1)<\/strong> Preparing an Annual State of Civil Services Report, 2)<\/strong> Exercising functional supervision over Training Institutions, 3)<\/strong> Facilitating the creation of Annual Capacity Building Plans for ministries and departments, 4)<\/strong> Undertaking an Audit of Human Resources available in Government, 5)<\/strong> Recommending policy interventions in areas of personnel\/HR to DoPT among others.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
