The United States and the United Kingdom have announced the Atlantic Declaration for a Twenty-First Century U.S.-UK Economic Partnership.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Atlantic Declaration?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Signed between: <\/b>US and UK<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim: <\/b>To adapt, reinforce, and reimagine the longstanding alliance between the two nations to effectively address the challenges of the current era.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 To <\/span>enhance industry collaboration in defence and renewable energy sectors in response to China\u2019s growing competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The declaration also includes a commitment to a \u201c<\/span>new UK-US Data Bridge<\/b>\u201d which would allow UK firms to transfer data freely to certified US organizations without paying a levy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pillars: <\/b>The declaration is built on five pillars:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
