What is the News?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Union Agriculture Minister has launched the PM Kisan Mobile App.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the PM Kisan Mobile App?<\/b><\/h2>\n

PM Kisan Mobile App has been launched under the <\/span>“Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi”<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The app <\/span>enables beneficiary farmers under PM KISAN to complete their e-KYC process by just scanning their faces on mobile phones instead of using a one-time password or fingerprints.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note: <\/b>Until now, e-KYC of the PM-Kisan beneficiaries used to be done through either biometrics at a designated center or one-time passwords sent to mobile phone numbers linked with Aadhaar.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The app will also provide very important information related to the scheme and PM Kisan accounts to the farmers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this, farmers can know the status of land seeding, linking of Aadhaar with bank accounts and e-KYC using the No User Status Module.<\/span><\/p>\n
