Between 2009 and 2022, some <\/span>280 billion Philippine pesos were invested <\/span><\/b>in renewable energy technologies in the Philippines, almost half of them going to solar energy.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Synergies<\/span><\/b> can also be unlocked in the <\/span>context of the \u201cDigital India\u201d project <\/span><\/b>and the Philippines\u2019 spirited shoring up of our digital infrastructure.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In defence and security, the<\/span> signing of a $374-million contract<\/span><\/b> for the procurement by the Philippines\u2019 defence forces of <\/span>India\u2019s BrahMos Shore-based Anti-Ship Missile System<\/span><\/b> in January 2022, signals only a first step.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

India\u2019s \u201cAct East Policy\u201d <\/span><\/b>also aims to strengthen <\/span>economic, strategic, and cultural relations in the Indo-Pacific region.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
