China:<\/b> China is constructing a bridge to connect the north and south banks of the lake.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Apart from the bridge, work on road connectivity along the south bank towards Shandong village is also under progress.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The Chinese air defence site is also located east of the Khurnak fort. (<\/span>Khurnak Fort<\/b> is a ruined fort on the northern shore of Pangong Lake).<\/span><\/p>\n

So far, India and China have held 18 rounds of military talks and 27 meetings of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs (WMCC).<\/span><\/p>\n
