Palm manuscripts from the 18th Century titled <\/span>Gnanamuyarchi<\/b> have been found in an Armenian monastery in Northern Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Gnanamuyarchi?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Gnanamuyarchi are Tamil manuscripts found in an Armenian monastery in Northern Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The manuscript <\/span>could be a copy of the <\/span>first Tamil translation of <\/b>Spiritual Exercise<\/i><\/b>,<\/span><\/i> written by St. Ignatius of Loyola in the 16th century.<\/span><\/p>\n

The translation was mostly done by <\/span>Michele Bertoldi, <\/b>known in Tamil as Gnanaprakasasamy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The manuscript was initially misclassified as ‘Indian Papyrus Lamulic Language\u2013XIII Century,’ unaware that they were written in Tamil.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
