Last year, on the occasion of India&#8217;s 75th Independence Day, the Prime Minister had pledged to make India a developed country by 2047. <strong>New innovations tailor-made to address the unique challenges faced by India<\/strong> will be a vital lever in achieving the milestone. However, India has lacked a robust domestic R&amp;D Ecosystem. The announcement by the Government to <strong>establish the National Research Foundation<\/strong> (NRF) is expected to alter the status-quo and push India to the forefront of most innovative economies.
