This campaign was launched as part of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incredible India Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign aims to establish India as the foremost choice for couples seeking an extraordinary wedding experience while bolstering the growth of the wedding industry and overall tourism in India.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What is the Incredible<\/b><b> India campaign?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incredible India campaign was launched by the Ministry of Tourism in the year 2002 to promote tourism in India to other countries\u2019 populations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of the campaign was to make a brand out of India that depicted its history, diversity, religious beliefs, and spirituality, all in all, it showed India as the melting pot of cultures that it was and is to this date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2017, \u2018Incredible India 2.0\u2019 campaign was launched.It marks a shift from generic promotions undertaken across the world to market-specific promotional plans and content creation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign focuses on digital and social media and the promotion of Niche tourism products, including yoga, wellness, luxury, cuisine and wildlife.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: The post is based on the article \u201cMinistry of Tourism launches a wedding tourism campaign to unlock the potential of India\u2019s huge wedding industry\u201d\u00a0 published in PIB on 19th August 2023.
