Researchers at the University of Illinois have discovered a <\/span>Demon Particle<\/b> that could lead to the making of superconductors that can operate at room temperature.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a Demon Particle?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Demon is a \u201ccomposite\u201d particle made up of a combination of electrons, in a solid<\/span><\/p>\n

The Demon Particle was first theorized by <\/span>David Pines in 1956.<\/b><\/p>\n

Pines <\/span>predicted that electrons in a solid can do something strange. While they normally have a mass and an electric charge, Pines asserted that they can combine to form a composite particle that is <\/span>massless, neutral, and does not interact with light<\/b>. He called this particle a “<\/span>demon.”\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Physicists have speculated that demon particle could play an important role in the characteristics of many metals. But they have never been able to confirm its existence until now.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The researchers at the University of Illinois <\/span>have now discovered a Demon Particle.<\/span><\/p>\n
