Meta, the technology company formerly known as Facebook has launched an advanced multilingual multimodal AI translation and transcription model named <\/span>‘SeamlessM4T.’<\/b><\/p>\n

What is SeamlessM4T?<\/b><\/h2>\n

SeamlessM4T is the first all-in-one multilingual multimodal AI translation and transcription model.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim: <\/b>To allow <\/span>people to communicate effortlessly through speech and text across different languages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Features:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

It is capable of <\/span>performing various tasks <\/b>including speech-to-text, speech-to-speech, text-to-speech and text-to-text translations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 For instance, <\/b>it has speech recognition for nearly 100 languages and speech-to-text translation for nearly 100 input and output languages. It also supports speech-to-speech translation in around 100 input languages and around 35 output languages including English.<\/span><\/p>\n

It <\/span>performs the entire translation task in one go,<\/b> unlike other large translation models that divide translation across different systems.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It has the <\/span>ability to recognize when a speaker is code-switching<\/b> or when someone moves between two or more languages in one sentence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
