The data indicates a positive trend in the participation of various age groups in the workforce. For instance:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Youth Participation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The engagement of individuals aged 15 to 29 in the workforce increased from 31.4 percent in 2017-18 to 36.8 percent in 2021-22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Middle aged group:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Individuals aged 30-34 saw their participation rate rise from 61.1 percent to 66.5 percent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Further, individuals aged 35-39 and 40-44 experienced increased participation, with rates reaching 71.1 percent and 73.7 percent in 2021-22, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Even the senior age <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">brackets demonstrated heightened workforce involvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, participation of individuals aged 15 and above in usual employment <\/span><b>rose from 46.8 percent in 2017-18 to 52.9 percent in 2021-22.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: The post is based on the article \u201cPLFS data elucidates a burgeoning trend of youth and individuals from varied age groups actively embracing the workforce\u201d\u00a0 published in PIB on 24th August 2023.
