These levels of risk are divided into<strong> four groups: minimal, limited, high, and unacceptable. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This model also proposes the establishment of a <strong>European Artificial Intelligence Board <\/strong>responsible for supervising the enforcement of regulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indian approach-<\/strong> A document published by the <strong>Telecom Regulatory Authority of India<\/strong> in July outlined a<strong> potential structure for regulation. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It suggested the creation of an <strong>independent statutory body and a diverse stakeholder group <\/strong>comprising <strong>government, academia, and industry representatives<\/strong> to provide guidance.<\/p>\n<p>The document put forward a matrix for classifying AI applications based on their<strong> risk levels<\/strong> and recommended regulating them in accordance with <strong>principles of responsible AI.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These principles encompassed <strong>inclusive growth, sustainable development, fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, security, safety, and accountability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The TRAI document also discusses the establishment of a<strong> global organization<\/strong> responsible for the<strong> &#8220;advancement, establishment of standards, and utilization of AI technology.&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Way forward-<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The influence of AI is poised to extend beyond the realm of information technology<\/strong>. It is reaching <strong>various domains<\/strong> such as education, healthcare, and finance.<\/p>\n<p>AI systems encompass matters ranging from <strong>privacy concerns to biases and inequities, security vulnerabilities, intellectual property entitlements<\/strong>. It demands a <strong>forward-thinking strategy. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, <strong>regulatory structures<\/strong> cannot operate in isolation.
