What is the News?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Indian Railways Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) Vadodara and Airbus have entered into collaboration to significantly strengthen the Indian aviation sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

The partnership will enable co-development and co-delivery of sector-relevant skilling courses and programs for regular students and working professionals, joint research and industry experiences for faculty, internships and placements for students and scholarship programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is expected that 15000 students <\/span>are likely to <\/span>be placed in Airbus<\/span> India operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is <\/b>Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya(GSV)?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya(GSV) is a Central University established through an Act of Parliament in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

It subsumes the previously-existing National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI).<\/span><\/p>\n

Mandate:<\/b> To create best in class manpower and talent for the entire transportation and logistics sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sponsored by:<\/b> Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chancellor: <\/b>Union Minister of\u00a0 Railways.<\/span><\/p>\n

Located in: <\/b>Vadodara, Gujarat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Significance:\u00a0 <\/b>GSV is a \u201cfirst of its kind\u201d university aiming to fulfill the mandate of the National Developmental Plans (PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan 2021 and National Logistics Policy 2022) across railways, shipping, ports, highways , roads, waterways and aviation etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Airbus?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Airbus is the world\u2019s largest manufacturer of commercial aircraft and a leading producer of helicopters, defence and space equipment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
