The seminar aims to engage the Indian industry and academia in achieving ‘Self-reliance in Defence Sector\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the SPRINT Initiative?<\/b><\/h2>\n

SPRINT is a collaborative initiative being undertaken by Naval Innovation and Indigenisation (NIIO) in conjunction with the Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO).<\/span><\/p>\n

Full Form:<\/b> SPRINT stands for <\/span>S<\/b>upporting <\/span>P<\/b>ole-Vaulting in <\/span>R<\/b>&D through <\/span>I<\/b>nnovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX), <\/span>N<\/b>IIO and <\/span>T<\/b>echnology Development Acceleration Cell (TDAC).<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim: <\/b>To give a boost to the usage of indigenous technology in the Indian Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n
