The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched Operation Chakra-II.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Operation Chakra-II?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Launched by: <\/b>Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim:<\/b> To fight against transnationally organized cyber-enabled financial crimes in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the operation, <\/b>CBI has partnered with Microsoft and Amazon as well as with national and international agencies to combat and dismantle infrastructure of illegal call centers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why Microsoft and Amazon are part of Operation Chakra-II?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Most of the illegal call centers raided by CBI posed as Microsoft and Amazon customer support.<\/span><\/p>\n

These call centers target vulnerable individuals and defraud thousands annually.<\/span><\/p>\n
