Amazon basin<\/b><\/td>\nIt is the largest tropical forest on the planet.
\n<\/span>It extends over 9 countries in South America: Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, French Guiana, Suriname and the Republic of Guyana.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Borneo-Mekong-Southeast Asia Basin<\/b><\/td>\nIt is the world\u2019s third largest carbon sink.It is composed of two sub-regions, the island of Borneo and the Mekong River.
\n<\/span>The Mekong River is one of the largest rivers in the world.It crosses six countries: China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
\n<\/span>Borneo is the fourth largest island in the world.It is divided between Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
