Why in the News?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Prime Minister has launched <\/span>‘Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat)\u2019 platform for youth of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Mera Yuva Bharat?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Objectives<\/b><\/td>\n1.<\/span>Leadership Development<\/b> in the Youth
\n<\/span>2.<\/span>Better alignment<\/b> between the aspirations of the youth and the community needs
\n<\/span>3.<\/span>Enhanced efficiency<\/b> through Convergence of existing programmes
\n<\/span>4.Act as a <\/span>one-stop shop <\/b>for young people and Ministries
\n<\/span>5.Create a <\/span>centralized youth database
\n<\/b>6.Improved two-way communication<\/b> to connect youth government initiatives and activities of other stakeholder that engage with youth
\n<\/span>7.Ensuring accessibility by creating a <\/span>Phygital Ecosystem – <\/b>a blend of physical and digital experiences<\/span>.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Target Group<\/b><\/td>\n(1) It will benefit the youth in the age group of 15-29 years.This is in line with the definition of \u2018Youth\u2019 in the National Youth Policy.
\n<\/span>(2) However, the beneficiaries of programme components aimed specifically at youths between the age group of 10 and 19.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Significance<\/b><\/td>\nThe program will empower and engage young people, encouraging them to become leaders and active citizens within their communities.
\n<\/span>It also offers various tools, resources and opportunities for youth to upgrade their skills and participate in social impact projects.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
