Chief Commissioner<br \/>\n2. Inquire on the violation of customer rights either by suo-moto, on complaint or when referred by central govt.<br \/>\n2. Protection against <strong>marketing of goods<\/strong> and services which are <strong>hazardous to life<\/strong> and property.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Right to be informed<\/strong>\u00a0on the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods and services.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Assurance of access<\/strong> to a variety of goods or services at competitive prices.<br \/>\n4. <strong>Redressal against unfair<\/strong> and restrictive trade practices.<br \/>\n5. Right to <strong>receive adequate compensation<\/strong> or consideration from respective consumer forums.<br \/>\n6. Right to <strong>receive consumer education<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 30px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 28.6667%; height: 30px;\"><strong>Important provisions of Consumer Protection Act, 2019<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 71.3333%; height: 30px;\">1. The Act establishes<strong> consumer protection councils<\/strong> to protect the rights of the consumers at both the national and state levels.<br \/>\n2.
