The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has launched the \u2018AAINA Dashboard for Cities\u2019 portal.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is AAINA Dashboard for Cities Portal?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Specifications<\/b><\/td>\nDetails<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Launched by<\/b><\/td>\nMinistry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Aim<\/b><\/td>\nTo create a robust database of the key performance metrics of Urban Local Bodies<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Objectives<\/b><\/td>\nTo help cities to
\n1.see how they are faring vis-\u00e0-vis other cities
\n2.inspire them by pointing to possibilities and areas of improvement
\n3.provide opportunity to learn and engage with frontrunners.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Will it rank ULBs?<\/b><\/td>\nAAINA dashboard will not rank ULBs<\/strong>. It would serve as a tool for comparing similarly placed cities and promoting peer learning among cities.<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Pillars<\/b><\/td>\nThe dashboard will provide information on status and progress of the ULBs on five pillars:
\n1)Political & Administrative Structure
\n2)Finance
\n3)Planning
\n4)Citizen Centric Governance

Significance<\/b><\/td>\nThis dashboard will inspire the ULBs by pointing to possibilities and areas of improvement and providing them the opportunity to learn and engage with frontrunners.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
