\n<\/span>1) Input framework:<\/b> It measures countries\u2019 regulatory and business environments, as well as what they are doing to attract, grow and retain talent.
\n<\/span>2) Output framework<\/b>: It measures the quality of talent in a country.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Topped by<\/b><\/td>\nSwitzerland, Singapore and the United States are the top three ranked countries.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
India\u2019s rank<\/b><\/td>\n103 out of 134 countries.
\n<\/span>Note: <\/b>India\u2019s rank was 83 ten years ago.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
BRICS countries<\/b><\/td>\nChina remained the leading member of the BRICS group at rank 40.

What are the reasons for India\u2019s fall in GTCI 2023?<\/b><\/h2>\n

1) India’s business sentiment decline affected talent attraction domestically and internationally. This impacted ‘External Openness’ and ‘Internal Openness’ rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n

2) Challenges persist in aligning available skills with market demands. This resulted in lower rankings for ‘Employability’ and ‘Vocational and Technical Skills\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n
