Why in the News?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences (CCRAS) has launched the Ayurveda Gyan Naipunya Initiative (AGNI).<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the AGNI Initiative?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Launched by<\/b><\/td>\nCentral Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences<\/strong> (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Objectives<\/b><\/td>\n1) To promote the culture of reporting evidence-based practices<\/strong> among the Ayurveda Practitioners.
\n<\/span>2) To provide a platform to the Ayurveda practitioners for reporting their innovative practices<\/strong> & experiences in various disease conditions.
\n<\/span>3) To document successful treatments<\/strong> for various diseases for the purpose of education and academics.
\n<\/span>4) To identify interested practitioners for collaboration<\/strong> and capacity building through training in research methods and clinical practices.
\n<\/span>5) To undertake research for mainstreaming pragmatic practices<\/strong> through scientific validation and evidence-based appraisal.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Collaboration with different Institutions<\/b><\/td>\nCCRAS will document and publish reported medical practices and therapeutic regimens in consultation with <\/span>NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine) <\/span><\/a>for educational and academic purposes.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
