Need for Empowerment and Support<\/strong>: These cities require more support in terms of finance, governance, and recognition in climate action plans.<\/p>\n

Examples of Proactive Cities<\/strong>: Some cities, like Chennai, are leading in climate action, aiming to achieve zero emissions by 2050. It exemplifies the importance of local initiatives.<\/p>\n

What should be done?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

City governments need to be involved in National Adaptation Plans and Nationally Determined Contributions.<\/p>\n
