But the <strong>geographical isolation<\/strong> of these tigers in Simlipal Tiger Reserve has <strong>led to inbreeding<\/strong>, offering the recessive gene frequent chances to show up.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2>What are the Conservation Efforts taken by the Government for Black Tigers?<\/h2>\n<p>1) The <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-tiger-conservation-authorityntca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA)<\/a> issued a <strong>Standard Operating Procedure<\/strong> for active management of tiger rehabilitation in source areas.<\/p>\n<p>2) Recognized as a unique genetic cluster, Similipal Tiger Reserve obtains <strong>funding through Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats (CSS-IDWH)<\/strong> for conservation of tigers, raising awareness on tiger &amp; other wildlife conservation, habitat management, etc under the Tiger Conservation Plan.<\/p>\n<h2>What is Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats (IDWH)?<\/h2>\n<p>1) Its a centrally sponsored scheme to <strong>provide technical and financial states to states for protection of wildlife habitat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2) The scheme has following <strong>three components<\/strong>:<br \/>\na. Support to Protected Areas (National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Conservation Reserves and Community Reserves).<br \/>\nb. Protection of Wildlife Outside Protected Areas.<br \/>\nc.
