3) The key factor is the relationship between India and the guest country<\/strong>, as the Republic Day Chief Guest invitation symbolizing the ultimate friendship gesture.<\/p>\n

4) Decision-making is strongly influenced by India’s political, commercial, military, and economic interests<\/strong>, as the Ministry of External Affairs aims to enhance ties in these areas during the occasion.<\/p>\n

5) Another factor that has historically played a role in the choice of the Chief Guest is the association with the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)<\/a><\/strong>, initiated in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
