\nFor instance, India\u2019s Presidency of the G20 <\/span>this year, despite doubts expressed by the perennial naysayers in India and around the world, was a big success in building consensus on key issues such as the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), macro-economic stability, digital public infrastructure, climate challenge, a just and equitable green transition, and reforms of multilateral structures.<\/p>\n

2) Global Partnerships:<\/strong> Strengthening ties with various countries through trade agreements, strategic partnerships, and collaborations in fields like defense, technology, and healthcare have contributed to India’s rise as a global leader.
\nFor instance, the inclusion of the African Union (AU) into the G20 <\/span>at the New Delhi Summit, hinged on India\u2019s strong advocacy of \u2018leaving none behind\u2019.
\nIndia is also part of important multilateral institutions such as I2U2, QUAD, BIMSTEC, BRICS, Supply Chain Resilience Initiative<\/span>, etc.<\/p>\n

3. Demographic Dividend:<\/strong> With a young population, India has a demographic advantage. A large, youthful workforce can be a driving force for economic growth and innovation.<\/p>\n

4. Economic Growth:<\/strong> India’s economy has been growing steadily, becoming one of the fastest-growing major economies globally. Its large market size and increasing GDP contribute significantly to its global influence.<\/p>\n

India’s emergence as a global power is a multifaceted process involving economic, technological, diplomatic, and cultural advancements that position it as an influential player in the international arena.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to OxFam,<\/span> India\u2019s top 10% holds 77.4% of the total national wealth<\/span>, while the top 1% holds 51.53% of the wealth.<\/p>\n
