What are the Key Findings of the Report?<\/h2>\n

1) Citing data from the National Judicial Data Grid<\/strong>, it highlighted that almost 20% of district court complexes in the country lack separate toilets for women.<\/p>\n

2) It emphasized the need for women-friendly toilets, noting that just 6.7% have sanitary napkin vending machines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3) It noted that court toilets have broken doors and inadequate water supply<\/strong>. It also highlighted the absence of a designated maintenance service <\/strong>in some cases.<\/p>\n

4) It also highlighted lack of toilets for transgender individuals<\/strong> in most district courts, underscoring the importance of having “gender-inclusive toilets” in every court complex.<\/p>\n
