So, Aditya-L1 can stay at L1 while expending little fuel.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What are the instruments present on Aditya L1?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Aditya-L1 is an observatory-class solar mission that will study the sun with the following instruments:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>VELC<\/strong>, a coronagraph to study the uppermost layer of the sun\u2019s atmosphere;<\/li>\n<li><strong>SUIT<\/strong>, an ultraviolet imaging telescope;<\/li>\n<li><strong>SoLEXS and HEL1OS<\/strong>, to study solar flares and coronal mass ejections;<\/li>\n<li><strong>ASPEX and PAPA<\/strong>, to study the solar wind and plasma;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Set of<\/strong> <strong>digital magnetometers<\/strong> to measure properties of the magnetic field around the spacecraft.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For more on the <strong>Aditya L1 Mission<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/isro-all-set-to-launch-first-sun-mission\/\">read here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/indias-first-mission-to-study-the-sun-to-begin-by-june-july\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What more should be done by ISRO?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Expansion of public outreach efforts:<\/strong> This can be done by hosting open days focused on specific missions and communicating on new results at regular intervals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question for practice:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What are the various instruments present on the Aditya L1 mission for solar exploration?
