The figure was highest in 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>3. The pace of growth is highest since 2016 when it grew 9.6 %in Jan-March quarter.<\/p>\n<p>4. Annual growth is estimated of 7.5 %<\/p>\n<p>5. Q1 growth rate is based on the lowest base (5.6) in the last 8 quarters.<\/p>\n<p>6. The growth is attributed to Manufacturing, construction and farm sectors.<\/p>\n<p>7. Industry Wise Facts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manufacturing sector grew 13.5% in first quarter of 2018-19<sup>.<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Construction sector grew 8.7%<\/li>\n<li>The GDP in the first quarter of 2018-19 is estimated at Rs. 33.74 lakh crore as against Rs. 31.18 lakh crore in Q1 of 2017-18.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>8. It is expected Indian economy remains the fastest growing economy in the world.<\/p>\n<p>9. Inflation to be moderate and well controlled.<\/p>\n<p>10.
