Why in news?<\/h2>\n

India\u2019s textile industry, in collaboration with industry associations, is gearing up to host \u201cBharat Tex 2024.<\/p>\n

What is Bharat tex 2024?<\/span><\/h2>\n

1) Bharat Tex 2024 is a global textile mega event organised by<\/strong> a consortium of 11\u00a0Textile Export Promotion Councils<\/strong>\u00a0and supported by the Ministry of Textiles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2) \u00a0It is to held<\/strong> in New Delhi<\/strong> from February 26-29, 2024,<\/p>\n

3) The aim of the event<\/strong> is\u00a0to position and\u00a0showcase India\u2019s entire textile value chain and also highlight strengths in fashion, traditional crafts and sustainability initiatives.<\/p>\n

What are the salient feature of the event?<\/h2>\n

1) The event will be in line with India’s 5F vision,<\/strong> which represents the journey from Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign,<\/strong> encompassing the whole textile production process from raw resources to worldwide markets.<\/p>\n

2) The event will showcase pavilions on Sustainability and Recycling,<\/strong> discussions on global supply chain resilience and digitization,<\/strong> fabric testing zones, product demos, and masterclasses. <\/strong><\/p>\n

3) It will also provides a platform for knowledge exchange, information dissemination,<\/strong> and Government to Government and Business to Business interactions.<\/strong><\/p>\n
