Why in News?<\/h2>\n

Recently, the MPLADS e-SAKSHI Mobile Application<\/strong> was launched by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI).<\/p>\n

What is E-SAKSHI mobile app?<\/h2>\n

1) Launched by:<\/strong> Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI)<\/p>\n

2)Objective:<\/strong>to capture the entire MPLADS fund allocation cycle and provide greater convenience and accessibility in monitoring the scheme.<\/p>\n

3) Features of the application:<\/strong> \u00a0Budget management <\/strong>to monitor expenditures by MPs.<\/p>\n

4) Mode of Operation:<\/strong> Both web portal and mobile application.<\/p>\n

4) Benefits:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will bring forth a myriad of benefits, revolutionizing the way MPs engage<\/strong> with and manage development projects in their constituencies.<\/p>\n

It would offer convenience and accessibility,<\/strong> allowing MPs to propose, track, and oversee the projects at their fingertips.<\/p>\n

This real-time access<\/strong>\u00a0enhances decision-making processes, <\/strong>enabling swift responses to emerging needs or issues.<\/p>\n

The application will streamline the communication between MPs and relevant authorities,<\/strong> facilitating a more efficient exchange of information.<\/p>\n

It will also promote transparency<\/strong> by providing MPs with instant updates on the status and progress <\/strong>of their proposed projects.<\/p>\n

Allocation<\/td>\nRs. 5 crore per year, non-lapsable<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Existing Schemes<\/td>\n1) MPLADS may be combined with other existing government <\/strong>schemes, provided it is for eligible projects.
