The community continuing to forage a significant portion of their food from the biodiversity-rich Ghats.<br \/>\n3. They live in the forest outskirts near<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Biligiri Rangana Hills and Male Mahadeshwara hills<\/span> in Chamarajanagar district.<br \/>\n4. They have become the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> first tribal communit<\/span>y residing within the core region of an Indian tiger reserve to have their <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">forest rights formally acknowledged<\/span> by a court of law.<br \/>\n5.
