These microbubbles <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">promote convection<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">facilitate faster heat transfer. <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Hence, the warm water<\/span><\/span> cools down more quickly.<\/p>\n<p>2) <strong>Evaporation-<\/strong> Another cause is attributed to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">evaporation.<\/span> As warmer water evaporates more, it takes away the heat more quickly. Thus, warm water cools down more quickly as compared to cold water.<\/p>\n<p>3) <strong>Presence of Frost in Cold Water-<\/strong> The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">presence of frost in cold water<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> acts as an insulator <span style=\"color: #333333;\">which<\/span><\/span> impedes\/slows down the process of heat loss. This raises the freezing point of cold water.<\/p>\n<p>4) <strong>Presence of Calcium carbonate and other impurities-<\/strong> Compounds like <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">calcium carbonate<\/span> precipitate in warm\/hot water, and it lowers down the freezing point of warm water.
