Alliance for Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality<\/strong>, India has recently launched the ‘Alliance for Global Good- Gender Equity and Equality’ at the 2024 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.<\/p>\n

Note-<\/strong> The launch was accompanied by the introduction of a women’s leadership lounge (We Lead Lounge) at WEF<\/span>, which hosted discussions and showcased products from women entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

What is the World Economic Forum (WEF)?<\/h2>\n

1) It is a Swiss-based international organization that holds an annual meeting in Davos<\/span>, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

2) It was established by Klaus Schwab in 1971<\/span> as a not-for-profit foundation. It was initially named as European Management Forum. Later, it changed its name to the World Economic Forum in 1987.<\/p>\n

3) Aim<\/strong>: The forum aims to improve the state of the world<\/span> by fostering dialogue and cooperation between different stakeholders.<\/p>\n

4) Headquarters<\/strong>: Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n
