It is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">capable of recognizing voices and solving complex maths problems.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How does it work?<\/h2>\n<p>1) Researchers <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">utilized lab-grown real human brain tissue<\/span> to create mini-brains known as <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">organoids<\/span>.<br \/>\n<strong>Note<\/strong>&#8211; Brain organoids are <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3D clusters of brain cells<\/span>. These organoids are not actual brains, they are simply tissue structures without thoughts or feelings. They help in studying how the brain works without using a real human brain.<\/p>\n<p>2) Brainoware connects these <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">organoids to microelectrodes<\/span> through a method of artificial neural network known as reservoir computing.<\/p>\n<p>3) This device <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">comprises three layers<\/span>: input, reservoir, and output.<\/p>\n<p>4) The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">brain organoid,<\/span> which is connected to microelectrodes, acts as the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">reservoir<\/span>. It <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">received inputs via electrical stimulation from<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">the<\/span> input layer <span style=\"color: #333333;\">(live brain cells)<\/span><\/span>. The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">output layer <span style=\"color: #333333;\">comprised<\/span> modified conventional computer hardware<\/span> programmed to recognize Brainoware&#8217;s neural activity.<\/p>\n<p>5) The researchers showcased Brainoware&#8217;s capabilities by forecasting a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Henon map<\/span>.
