{"id":280902,"date":"2024-02-03T16:25:32","date_gmt":"2024-02-03T10:55:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=280902"},"modified":"2024-02-03T16:25:32","modified_gmt":"2024-02-03T10:55:32","slug":"ghar-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/ghar-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"GHAR portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Source-This post on<strong> GHAR portal<\/strong> has been created based on the article &#8220;<strong>GHAR (GO Home and Re-Unite) Portal for Restoration and Repatriation of Child launched by NCPCR<\/strong>&#8221; published in &#8220;<strong>PIB<\/strong>&#8221; on 2 February 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>Why in the news?<\/h2>\n<p>The Ministry of Women and Child Development developed the \u201c<strong>Track Child Portal<\/strong>\u201d to track missing and found children in all States\/UT.<\/p>\n<h2>About GHAR(Go Home and Re-Unite) portal<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Launched by<\/strong>: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights(NCPCR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong>:The GHAR portal has been developed to<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> digitally monitor<\/span> and track the restoration and repatriation of children as per the protocols under <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">the Juvenile Justice<\/span> (Care and Protection of Children) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Act, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Key Features of the Portal<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; Digital tracking and monitoring of children who are in the Juvenile Justice(JJ) system and have to be repatriated to another Country\/State\/District.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Digital transfer of cases of children to the concerned Child Welfare Committees(CWCs) of the State. It will help in the speedy repatriation of children.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 CWCs and District Child Protection Units (DCPUs) will ensure proper restoration and rehabilitation of children by digitally monitoring the progress of the case of the child.<\/p>\n<h2>About Track child portlal<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Launched by<\/strong>-The Ministry of<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Women and Child Development Portal<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong>-It enables tracking of the missing and found children in all States\/UTs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Implemented by<\/strong>-It is implemented with support and involvement of various stakeholders namely <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Railways, State Governments\/ UT Administrations, Child Welfare Committees, Juvenile Justice Boards, National Legal Services Authority, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Key features<\/h2>\n<p>1)\u00a0 The Track Child portal is integrated with the CCTNS or <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Crime and Criminal Tracking &amp; Network Systems of the Ministry of Home Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2) This allows <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">interoperability<\/span> in terms of matching of F.I. Rs of missing children with database of TrackChild to trace and match missing children by the concerned State\/UT police.<\/p>\n<p>3) \u201c<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Khoya-Paya<\/span>\u201d-It is one of the component of Track Child Portal.
