Why in the news?<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Women and Child Development developed the \u201cTrack Child Portal<\/strong>\u201d to track missing and found children in all States\/UT.<\/p>\n

About GHAR(Go Home and Re-Unite) portal<\/h2>\n

Launched by<\/strong>: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights(NCPCR)<\/p>\n

Objective<\/strong>:The GHAR portal has been developed to digitally monitor<\/span> and track the restoration and repatriation of children as per the protocols under the Juvenile Justice<\/span> (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Features of the Portal<\/h2>\n

– Digital tracking and monitoring of children who are in the Juvenile Justice(JJ) system and have to be repatriated to another Country\/State\/District.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Digital transfer of cases of children to the concerned Child Welfare Committees(CWCs) of the State. It will help in the speedy repatriation of children.<\/p>\n

\u2013 CWCs and District Child Protection Units (DCPUs) will ensure proper restoration and rehabilitation of children by digitally monitoring the progress of the case of the child.<\/p>\n

About Track child portlal<\/h2>\n

Launched by<\/strong>-The Ministry of Women and Child Development Portal<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Objective<\/strong>-It enables tracking of the missing and found children in all States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

Implemented by<\/strong>-It is implemented with support and involvement of various stakeholders namely Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Railways, State Governments\/ UT Administrations, Child Welfare Committees, Juvenile Justice Boards, National Legal Services Authority, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key features<\/h2>\n

1)\u00a0 The Track Child portal is integrated with the CCTNS or Crime and Criminal Tracking & Network Systems of the Ministry of Home Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

2) This allows interoperability<\/span> in terms of matching of F.I. Rs of missing children with database of TrackChild to trace and match missing children by the concerned State\/UT police.<\/p>\n

3) \u201cKhoya-Paya<\/span>\u201d-It is one of the component of Track Child Portal. In this portal, any citizen can report for any missing or sighted children.<\/p>\n

NOTE-National\u00a0Commission for Protection of Child Rights(NCPCR)<\/strong>-It is a statutory body.It has been constituted under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005.<\/p>\n
