Zodiacal Light Skyglow<\/strong>, Recently a scientist at Physics Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad have published a paper attributing dust from Mar’s two moon as the possible source of Zodiacal light.<\/p>\n

About Zodical Light<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is sunlight scattered by interplanetary dust<\/span>. This is visible from the earth as a faint<\/span>, diffuse<\/span> glow on completely dark nights. Interplanetary dust<\/span> consists of cosmic dust<\/span> (small particles floating in outer space) that pervades the space between planets<\/span> in solar system.<\/p>\n

It is present across the entire path of the ecliptic. This is <\/span><\/span>the path along which the Sun moves in the sky over the course of a year.<\/p>\n

NOTE<\/strong>-1) \u2018AU\u2019 stands for \u2018astronomical unit<\/span>\u2019, which is the distance between the earth<\/span> and the Sun.<\/span>

\n3)Stickney crater<\/span>-This is a 10-km-wide crater in Phobos.<\/span><\/p>\n
