Distinguished scientists came together to celebrate 100 years of Satyendra Nath Bose’s publications contributing to quantum mechanics.<\/p>\n

Introduction<\/strong>-1) He was an Indian physicist<\/span> who established modern theoretical physics<\/span> in India. He is best known for providing the foundation of Bose-Einstein statistics<\/span> and developing the theory of Bose-Einstein condensates<\/span>.<\/p>\n

2) He was born in Calcutta on January 1, 1894. He was an outstanding student who got inspired from brilliant teachers like Jagadish Chandra Bose<\/span> and Prafulla Chandra Roy<\/span>.<\/p>\n

3) He started his career in 1916 as a lecturer in physics at Calcutta University<\/span> and then joined Dacca University.<\/p>\n

4) At the University of Dhaka, Bose carried out research and studied the theory of relativity<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Contribution of Satyendra Nath Bose<\/h2>\n

1) By treating radiation as a gas of photons (Photon gas) and using new statistical techniques for counting photon states, Bose provided a new derivation of Planck’s law<\/span>.<\/p>\n

2) The pioneering ideas of Bose, developed further by Einstein<\/span>, were confirmed by the observation of a new state of matter in a diluted gas of ultra-cold alkali atoms, the Bose-Einstein condensate<\/span>. This exotic material exists only when atoms of certain elements are cooled to temperatures near absolute zero<\/span>.<\/p>\n

3) At that point, clusters of atoms begin functioning as a single quantum object with both wave and particle properties.<\/span><\/p>\n

4) According to scientists, BECs<\/span> hold crucial information about curious phenomena like dark energy<\/span>, the unidentified energy thought to be responsible for the universe’s accelerating expansion.<\/p>\n
