Key features of the Bill are given below:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Bill seeks to punish bribe-givers and bribe takers.<\/li>\n<li>Jail terms of three to seven years, besides fine, to those convicted by receiving or giving brides to public officials.<\/li>\n<li>The public servants will be prosecuted after government sanction.<\/li>\n<li>The verdict on corruption cases should be given within\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 two years.<\/li>\n<li>The Bill makes a distinction between \u201cCollusive bribe givers\u201d and those who are \u201ccoerced\u201d. The Bill seeks to protect those who report the matter within 7 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>3.
